These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GranTribe, operated by experTribe LLC ("experTribe," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or accessing GranTribe, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent.
GranTribe was previously called GrantMinder. The name has changed. The company behind it, experTribe LLC, has not, and existing agreements continue unchanged.
GranTribe is a product of experTribe LLC, a Maryland limited liability company. You can reach us at support@grantribe.com.
GranTribe combines a platform with a service.
The platform helps organizations discover, track and manage grant funding opportunities. This includes grant discovery, pipeline management, deadline tracking, application drafting assistance and organizational profile management. Some features use artificial intelligence to assist with writing and analysis.
The service is the work we do alongside your team. Depending on your subscription and what we have agreed with you, this may include onboarding conversations to build your organizational profile, weekly review of new opportunities, guidance through individual applications, drafting support, and hands-on management of larger or more complex applications.
The scope of service included in your subscription is set out in your enrollment confirmation. Work beyond that scope is agreed separately in writing before it begins.
You must be authorized to enter into contracts on behalf of the organization you register. GranTribe accounts are for organizations, not individuals acting in a personal capacity.
You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure. Notify us immediately at support@grantribe.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
You agree to provide accurate information when setting up your account and to keep it current.
Each organization has one tenant account. Multiple members of your organization may access that account under the roles you assign them.
GranTribe is sold on annual subscriptions. Your rate, the seats included and the scope of service included are set out in your enrollment confirmation. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method annually through our payment processor.
Subscriptions renew annually unless cancelled. We will notify you by email before each renewal.
Subscriptions run annually, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current annual period. Your account stays active until then.
If something is not working, or you have questions about your subscription, contact support@grantribe.com. We would rather hear from you early.
Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the remainder of your annual period. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal. To change your subscription, contact support@grantribe.com.
If you enrolled at a founding rate, that rate applies for the period stated in your enrollment confirmation. Standard pricing applies afterwards, and we will tell you before that happens.
If a payment fails we will notify you and attempt to collect. Accounts with outstanding balances may be suspended after reasonable notice.
We will give you at least 30 days written notice before changing your subscription price. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. A price change never takes effect part-way through a period you have already paid for.
We charge for access and for the work we do. We never charge a percentage of grant funding awarded, and our fees are not contingent on whether an application succeeds.
The content your organization creates in GranTribe, including your organizational profile, application drafts and internal notes, belongs to your organization.
While your subscription is active you can view and download your information through the platform. You may also request copies of applications in progress or submitted by contacting support@grantribe.com, and we will provide them within 10 business days.
Your account remains accessible in read-only form for a period after cancellation so that you can retrieve what you need. That period is stated in your enrollment confirmation and is never less than 14 days. During that time you may request copies of applications in progress or submitted, on the same 10 business day basis.
Some material in GranTribe is not organization-specific and is not part of what is provided on request. This includes grant opportunity details, deadlines, eligibility criteria and funder information, which are curated by GranTribe and made available across all organizations using the platform. It also includes the analysis, matching, scoring and platform intelligence GranTribe generates, which remains the property of experTribe LLC.

GranTribe uses a third-party AI provider to power writing and analysis features. You understand and agree to the following.
AI-assisted content is a starting point, not a finished product. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing and verifying any content before it goes to a funder or any other third party. This applies equally to drafts prepared with our assistance.
We make no representation that using GranTribe will improve your chances of receiving an award. Grant outcomes depend on factors entirely outside our control.
AI-assisted content may contain errors, omissions or information that is outdated or inapplicable to your situation. Always verify facts, figures and eligibility criteria independently.
We do not use your content to train external AI models. We analyze anonymized patterns in platform usage, including outcomes, pipeline activity and feature usage, to improve recommendations and performance for everyone. Your own organization's data is used to improve your own submissions over time, and those improvements belong exclusively to you. Your narratives, drafts and profile content are never shared with other organizations.
You agree not to use GranTribe to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without refund.
GranTribe, including its software, design, methodology, prompting systems, matching logic and scoring, is the intellectual property of experTribe LLC. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you.
You retain full ownership of the content your organization creates in GranTribe. By using the platform you grant us a limited license to store, process and display that content solely to provide the service to you.
If you give us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve GranTribe without any obligation to you.
We treat your organization's grant strategy, application drafts and profile narratives as confidential. We will not share them with other organizations or third parties except as needed to provide the service or as required by law. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
GranTribe is provided as is and as available. We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, experTribe LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of GranTribe shall not exceed the total fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
experTribe LLC is not liable for lost profits, lost grant awards, loss of data, business interruption, or any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, even if advised of the possibility.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless experTribe LLC and its officers, employees and agents from any claims, damages or expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from your use of GranTribe, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit through the platform.
By you. You may cancel at any time as described in section 4.
By us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if payment is more than 30 days overdue after notice, or if we discontinue the service. We will give reasonable notice except in cases of serious violation. If we discontinue the service, we will refund the unused portion of your annual period.
Effect of termination. Sections 5, 8, 10, 11 and 13 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Baltimore, Maryland under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last Updated date and notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
